A perfect medium rare AAA steak, with grilled vegetables and roasted potatoes at Bistro sous le Fort, Quebec City. The peppercorn. fresh cream marinade was the cherry on top.

The most incredible French seafood casserole I’ve ever tried in my life. The scallops and shrimp were plump and the lobster came from Gaspésie, while the veggies were flavourful and cooked to perfection. Most importantly, the sauce, containing white wine and fresh cream, was so unique, I’ve been craving it ever since.

The most incredible French seafood casserole I’ve ever tried in my life. On my recent trip to Quebec City, we decided to try authentic french cuisine at Bistro sous le Fort, located under the famous Chateau Frontenac. It was fresh, delicious, intimate, and had an excellent staff - quaint and cozy meets big flavour.
